Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The services offered through Moses Cone Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation are medically supervised and designed to meet your individualized needs if you have heart or lung problems.

Cardiac rehabilitation helps you if you are recovering from a heart attack, heart surgery, angioplasty or stents, heart transplant, stable angina or other heart problems. You will be placed on a telemetry monitoring system during your rehabilitation. The goal of the program is to prevent future hospitalization, address your risk factors (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, lack of physical activities and tobacco use) and improve your health and quality of life.

Pulmonary rehabilitation can help relieve symptoms, slow the progression of your disease, prevent and treat complications, improve exercise tolerance, and help you to return to caring for yourself and managing daily activities. The goal is to improve your overall health and quality of life.
