After Breast Cancer Class is a specially designed exercise class to assist you in a safe recovery after having breast cancer surgery. In this class you will learn how to get back to full function whether your drains were just removed or if you had surgery a month ago.
This one-time class is held the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Cone Health Outpatient Cancer Rehabilitation Center located at 1904 North Church Street.
- Understand specific stretches to improve the flexibility of your chest and shoulder.
- Learn ways to safely strengthen your upper body and improve your posture.
- Understand the warning signs of infection and why you may be at risk for an arm infection.
- Learn about Lymphedema and prevention.
