Biography
Margaret Simpson, MD, who is board certified in family medicine, has three decades of experience.
Her professional interests are chronic disease management, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes and obesity, as well as promoting healthy living practices.
Patient-centered and upbeat, she empowers patients through education, so engagement and taking ownership of one’s health become the expected norm. Relatedly, she believes patients’ health outcomes can change for the better with education, encouragement and confidence-building, which is what excites her about practicing medicine. She is passionate about encouraging growth in support staff, especially the young professionals in healthcare, who are the leaders and caregivers of tomorrow.
In her spare time, she enjoys music, crafts, travel, reading and gardening.
