Goldstein Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Robert “Bob” Goldstein, FACMPE, Executive Vice President, Cone Physician Network and LeBauer HealthCare, was awarded the Harry J. Harwick Lifetime Achievement Award by the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Medical Practice Executives. The announcement was made at the organizations’ annual conference in Las Vegas.

The Harry J. Harwick Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest form of recognition bestowed by the Associations. It goes to an individual who has made nationally recognized contributions to the profession of healthcare administration and medical practice management.

Goldstein joined Cone Health in March 2002 as Vice President/Executive Director of LeBauer HealthCare. He became the first Executive Vice President, Physician Network, in 2008. Goldstein recently helped establish the Cone Physician Network, which consolidated physicians employed by Cone Health and provides a vehicle for employment of community physicians. Recently, he was involved in the creation of Triad HealthCare Network – a clinically integrated network partnership between Cone Health and area physicians.

Goldstein is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He has dedicated more than 35 years to his profession, community and the association.
