Popular Gastroenterologist Returns to Annie Penn Hospital

Dr. Najeeb U. Rehman has returned to Reidsville and has rejoined the medical staff of Annie Penn Hospital. Rehman specializes in the treatment and diagnoses of disorders of the gastrointestinal system, including the esophagus, stomach, liver, intestines, colon, and pancreas. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Rehman practiced medicine in Reidsville from 1986 until 2008 when he moved his practice to Eden. "The entire Annie Penn Hospital family is very excited to welcome Dr. Rehman back home to Reidsville," Mickey Foster, Annie Penn Hospital President says. “Annie Penn Hospital is committed to high quality, patient centered care and Dr. Rehman shares our commitment.”

Rehman received his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, University of Punjab in Pakistan. He served his residency and internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C., an affiliated program of Georgetown University Hospital. Rehman also completed a two year GI Fellowship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Rehman has served the residents of Rockingham County and surrounding areas since 1986. Rehman is a member of the Active Medical Staff of Annie Penn Hospital, and has opened his new practice, Rehman GI and Associates, at the Annie Penn Medical Office Building, 621 S. Main Street, Suite 100.
