Cone Health Wins National Marketing Awards
Cone Health has earned nine national marketing awards — including four gold awards — for its advertising and marketing campaigns. Cone Health was recognized in the 29th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report and by Marketing Healthcare Today through its Aster Awards. They are widely recognized as two of the most prestigious healthcare marketing award competitions.
Most of the awards recognize exceptional work in the Cone Health branding campaign. A series of magazine ads and a campaign supporting Cone Health Heart and Vascular Center took gold Aster awards. Radio commercials supporting the branding campaign and an employee wellness calendar earned gold Healthcare Advertising Awards. Cone Health also received two silver awards, two bronze awards and a merit award in the competitions.
“We are very excited about being recognized on a national level for this work,” says Chuck Wallington, Vice President, Marketing, Cone Health. “What makes this even better is that the people we used in our magazine ads, television commercials and employee wellness calendar are actual employees. Their commitment to the effort and their involvement reflects the excitement and pride that comes with being part of Cone Health. It shows in everything we do.”
Cone Health would like to acknowledge its partners for their work on the Cone Health branding campaign. They are: Quixote Group, a strategic marketing, communications and market research firm based in Greensboro responsible for development of the Cone Health brand and strategic positioning; Shapiro Walker Design, a creative design firm based in Winston-Salem specializing in the creative positioning of products, services and brand image; and, Big Fish, a full-service film production company based in Dallas, TX. Cone Health would also like to thank Krames StayWell, a provider of interactive, print and mobile health information, for its work on the Cone Health employee calendar.
