Pinwheels For Prevention At Moses Cone Hospital
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
In an effort to raise awareness about child abuse, leaders of the Pediatrics Department at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital invited youngsters to plant a pinwheel garden in front of the hospital.
Daycare leaders and hospital officials helped the little ones plant the pinwheels — many explaining, “This is for the little kids who are hurting.”
Pediatrician Kaye Gable, MD, was on-hand providing media interviews while
a clown with his puppet and a story time reader were also included in the festivities.
