Sue Pedaline named VP Nursing, Women's Hospital

Sue Pedaline, RN, has been named Vice President of Nursing and Patient Services at Women’s Hospital. Pedaline will be responsible for setting the pace for the 375 nurses who work at the facility. Women’s Hospital is part of Cone Health.

Sue PedalinePedaline comes to Cone Health from Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she was the program administrator for obstetrics and newborn services. During her time there, Pedaline initiated several programs aimed at improving safety for patients, and communications and teamwork among staff.

“For the better part of my career I have been driven by a personal mission to inspire and nurture growth, fulfillment and compassion,” Pedaline says. “We each have an opportunity every day, with every patient and with every colleague, to provide the ideal experience and environment for each other.”

“Sue’s love for women’s and children’s services as well as staff development will be a welcome addition to our team,” says Cindy Farrand, President, Women’s Hospital.

Pedaline earned her nursing diploma from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University and her doctorate in nursing practice from the University of Pittsburgh.
