Cone Health Announces New Directors
Maggie Conklin, RN, has been named the director of oncology and palliative care at Wesley Long Hospital. Conklin comes to Cone Health from Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro where she has been vice-president of clinical services.
Conklin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Vermont and her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the North Carolina Board of Nursing, the Guilford Friends Home Advisory Board and the Advanced Home Care Professional Advisory Committee.
Kathy Foster has been promoted to director of the Family Medicine Center at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Foster has been the acting director for the past eight months.
Foster has worked at Cone Health for 29 years. She has served as the assistant director of the Family Medicine Center for the past six years.
Foster earned her bachelor and master degrees in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a member of the North Carolina and American Nurses Association. She is also a member of the University of North Carolina Board of Visitors.
