Medical Staff Additions at Cone Health

The following individuals have joined the medical staff of Cone Health.

Nurse practitioner Carmen Chatten has changed her primary practice location. She now practices at Cone Health Urgent Care Center at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Jeffrey Morgan Denney of Wake Forest University, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, has joined the medical staff of Cone Health. Denney attended the Medical College of Georgia and was a resident at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Pamela Ferry is a fellow at the Center for Women’s Healthcare Faculty Practice. She is a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at Via Christi University of Kansas College of Medicine. Ferry is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Tracy Lathrop practices at Greensboro Women’s Health Care. She earned her medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and was a resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Long Island Jewish Medical Center/George Washington University Hospitals. Lathrop is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Adam McDermott is a neuropsychologist at Cone Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center in the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. McDermott is a graduate of the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and performed his postdoctoral fellowship in the University of Virginia, Department of Neurology.

Dr. James Benjamin Hooker has changed his practice location. He now practices at Piedmont Pediatrics in Greensboro.  

Dr. Steven Newton practices as a family medicine doctor at Cone Health Urgent Care Center at MedCenter Kernersville. Newton earned his medical degree at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and performed his residency through the Cone Health Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Karen Pollard is a neuropsychologist at the Cone Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center inside The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. She earned her medical degree at the University of La Verne in La Verne, Calif. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia.

Family Nurse Practitioner Daphne Sharpe, DNP, has joined Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital. Sharpe is a graduate of Duke University and earned her doctorate of nursing practice at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
