New Chaplains at Women’s Hospital
Kathryn “Katy” Claussen and Lisa Lundeen have been named chaplains at Women’s Hospital. They will be available to patients, staff and visitors to the hospital from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Katy and Lisa are very skilled and committed to providing excellent care to our patients and families as well as being a good resource for staff,” says Bob Hamilton, Director, Department for Spiritual Care and Wholeness, Cone Health.
Claussen is a graduate of Carleton College, Northfield, Minn., and earned her master’s degree from Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. She completed her clinical pastoral residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Claussen is a member of the National Association of Jewish Chaplains.
Lundeen, a Quaker minister, received her Master of Divinity degree from Earlham School of Religion, Richmond, Ind. She completed two years of post-graduate clinical pastoral training through the Cone Health Clinical Pastoral Education Program. Lundeen has worked as a contract chaplain with the Cone Health Department for Spiritual Care and Wholeness.
