Rakestraw Named Employee Performance Manager

 

Rockingham County native Julie Rakestraw has been named employee performance manager for Annie Penn Hospital, reporting to President Julie RakestrawMickey Foster. Rakestraw spent the past decade of her career as employee performance manager at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. She is responsible for helping staff understand workplace policies and procedures as well as working to foster a high level of employee engagement.

 “Annie Penn Hospital is a shining star in our community, with so much to be proud of,” says Rakestraw. “I look forward to building relationships and contributing to such a great organization.”

Rakestraw earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources.

Rakestraw replaces Elaine Hicks who is retiring. “I want to personally thank Elaine for her many years of dedicated service to Annie Penn Hospital,” says Foster. “She has been a real asset to the organization and I wish her the best in her retirement.”
