“One of the advantages of having a Triad HealthCare Network doctor is our emphasis on preventive medicine,” says Steve Neorr, vice president and executive director, Triad HealthCare Network. “Rhonda’s team will reach out to patients to make sure they understand their doctor’s instructions and to help them manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. This prevents manageable conditions from becoming major problems down the road.”

Rumple has been with Cone Health since 1988 in numerous leadership roles. For the past three years, she has served as the program manager of MedLink Care Management. “Our care team has a passion for helping patients understand they can have a positive impact on their health. The team listens closely to understand more about the challenges patients face, and provide the information and community connections to support them,” says Rumple. “As we look to the future, greater collaboration with providers, community partners and patients will improve the health of our patients and community.”

Rumple earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and recently completed her Master of Science degree in nursing with an emphasis in leadership in health systems from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
