Magnet Hospital Evaluators to Visit Cone Health

Members of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® will visit Cone Health, June 17-June 20. The visit is part of the process to re-designate The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Wesley Long Hospital, Annie Penn Hospital, Women’s Hospital and Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital as Magnet Hospitals. The designation recognizes excellence in nursing services.

“Holding a Magnet designation is a seal of approval when it comes to the quality of nursing care we provide our patients,” says Cone Health Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Theresa Brodrick. “The evaluators want public comment as part of the process. We urge people to tell them stories of the wonderful care they have received or witnessed at Cone Health.”

Patients, family members, staff and other interested parties may send comments via e-mail, fax and direct mail. Comments are confidential, may be anonymous, but must be in writing. (Phone comments to the Magnet Program Office must be followed up in writing.) Comments must be received by Saturday, June 7. Contact the ANCC at:
