Penn Nursing Center Awarded Highest Rating
Penn Nursing Center has again been awarded a five-star rating for overall quality by The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). This is the highest rating CMS provides to nursing homes in its Five-Star Nursing Home Quality Rating System.
The rating is based on health inspections, performance in meeting nine clinical and physical quality measures, and staffing levels. Nursing homes with five stars are considered to have quality that is well above average. “Our goal is to provide the highest quality and best service to our residents at Penn Nursing Center,” says Penn Nursing Center Administrator Annette McNeill. “Earning five stars for the second year in a row really shows the commitment we have made to providing an exceptional experience for our residents.”
The ratings were designed by CMS to help consumers find safe, high-quality nursing home care. The ratings are found on the nursing home compare website.
Penn Nursing Center is a 92-bed facility on the campus of Annie Penn Hospital and provides care to both short-term and long-term residents.
