Cone Health Executive Named to “Outstanding Women in Business” List

Mandy Eaton is honored for her service to the community, outstanding job performance and dedication to her profession.

Mandy Eaton, vice president, Human Resources, Cone Health, has been named a 2017 Outstanding Women in Business honoree by the Triad Business Journal. She was celebrated at a luncheon on April 27. Eaton was selected from a highly competitive pool of nominees based on community service, contributions to Cone Health and to the human resources profession.

Eaton joined Cone Health in 2013 as part of the integration with Alamance Regional Medical Center, where she served as vice president of Human Resources.

Eaton serves on the board of the North Carolina Healthcare Human Resources Association, and is chair of the board of directors for Alamance Eldercare, regional consultant for the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Association and co-chair of Girls on the Run - Triad.

Eaton received the 2010 40 Leaders Under 40 Award for the Triad and was a member of Leadership Alamance, class of 2009.

Eaton earned a master’s degree in health care administration and a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is certified in health care human resources by the American Hospital Association. Eaton was one of the first 10 in North Carolina and one of the first 140 nationally to earn the distinction.
