Our Cone Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals who have experienced a serious injury or illness. Patients needing general rehabilitation include those who have undergone back surgery or hip or knee replacements, or who have experienced bone fractures or lost a limb by amputation. Patients who have become severely weakened by heart disease, lung disease, surgery, cancer or degenerative neuromuscular disorders such as multiple sclerosis or Guillian-Barré syndrome can benefit from general rehabilitation as well.
Our experienced rehabilitation physician and staff members work with our patients and their families to create a personalized treatment plan to help each patient regain as much independence as possible, with the goal of returning to home and the community.
Based on individual needs, our patients receive rehabilitation nursing and therapy services; counseling services; case management to plan for discharge and follow-up services; and ongoing education regarding their illness or injury, recovery and health.
