Neurology Services
Our neurology services include a specialized 14-bed neuroscience intensive care department and a 39-bed neuroscience medical/surgical department. We closely work with the neurologists within our community to provide the highest quality care.
Our neurologists have special training in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke, movement disorders (Parkinson's disease), demyelinating disorders (multiple sclerosis), spasticity, seizures, spinal cord injury, pediatric neurological disorders and dementias (Alzheimer's disease).
Neurosurgery Services
Our neurosurgeons are recognized for their innovative, highly specialized treatments of neurological disorders, including spine disease, spinal cord trauma, spinal and brain tumors, degenerative diseases, seizures and cerebrovascular disorders.
We use the latest technology and techniques, including stereotaxis and deep brain stimulators. Our neurosurgeons provide comprehensive care for our patients in collaboration with neurologists, neuroradiologists, radiation oncologists, and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists.
Interventional Neuroradiology
Our Interventional Neuroradiology Department offers state-of-the-art treatments and procedures for patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including acute stroke, vertebral body fractures, spine tumors, artherosclerosis of carotid and intracranial arteries, intracranial aneurysms and subarachnoid hemorrhages.
Our specially trained interventional neuroradiologists work collaboratively with neurosurgeons and neurologists to provide a multidisciplinary and coordinated approach to patient care.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Our Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is comprised of physiatrists and physician assistants. Our physiatrists provide medical leadership for our Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, our Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers and the Center for Pain and Rehabilitative Medicine.
Our physiatrists collaborate with many other affiliated medical and surgical specialties, as well as with rehabilitation teams consisting of rehabilitation nurses; speech, occupational, physical and recreation therapists; neuropsychologists; social workers; and case managers.
Our rehabilitation medicine staff uses a team approach to treat our patients with impairments. Our multidisciplinary team helps our patients restore physical abilities and enhances the quality of life for those with disabilities.
