Rehab

Rebuild strength, improve mobility and ease pain with physical therapy at Cone Health.

Personal Attention, Experienced PTs

When you choose Cone Health, you’ll enjoy one-on-one attention from a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant throughout your treatment. We’ll take the time to get to know you, understand your unique symptoms and treatment goals, and develop a care plan that helps you return to the activities you enjoy.

Conditions that Benefit from Physical Therapy

Depend on your physical therapist to help you recover from an injury or surgery, prevent future injuries or live more easily with a chronic condition. Get conservative, effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, including:

Convenient Physical Therapy Locations

With 12 outpatient rehabilitation centers across the Triad, you’ll find physical therapy services close to where you live or work. Enjoy the warm, friendly environment of your local clinic while taking advantage of an array of specialized services and equipment.

Advanced Therapeutic Equipment

At all our locations, you’ll have access to a variety of exercise equipment, such as NuStep recumbent cross-trainers, treadmills and arm bikes. Select centers feature specialty equipment such as body-weight support systems to assist those who need help walking and Neurocom Balance Master® systems to identify and improve the source of balance issues.

Aquatic Physical Therapy

Enjoy the therapeutic effects of water while building strength and mobility with aquatic therapy. You’ll work one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist in a heated pool at the Wellness Center at The Village at Brookwood. Water may make movements more comfortable because it supports your body and reduces pressure, pain and stress on your joints.

Pilates for Rehabilitation

Ease back and neck pain by safely building strength, muscle control and flexibility through Pilates exercises. Work one-on-one with a physical therapist certified in Pilates instruction to address your specific symptoms or register for our group class. Learn more about therapeutic Pilates at Cone Health.

Ask for a Referral

When you need physical or occupational therapy, ask your doctor to refer you to Cone Health. For more information, talk to your physician or call an outpatient rehabilitation center near you.
