Stroke RehabilitationAfter a stroke, your doctor may recommend you begin your recovery journey at an inpatient rehabilitation facility. You’ll receive round-the-clock care and participate in intensive, goal-oriented daily therapy to help you regain your independence and work toward returning home.

Exceptional Care, Exceptional Outcomes

Each year, the Cone Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center team helps approximately 300 stroke survivors and their families work toward their recovery goals. Our patients improve their functional abilities, gain independence, and complete the program at rates that exceed national averages. In 2015:

  • 93 percent of our patients completed the program, compared with a national average of 89 percent.
  • 76.39 percent of our patients returned home after completing the program, compared with a national average of 69.57 percent.

The average stay for stroke survivor was 15 days.
