From the first days of pregnancy to your little one’s first steps, Cone Health educators are here to help guide your way to a happy and healthy baby.

Classes taught by certified instructors are available on a variety of topics including childbirth, infant care, parenting, breastfeeding, infant CPR, and more.

  • Baby & Me

    Discuss newborn and infant parenting along with family adjustment issues with other new mothers. Each week is a new speaker or baby-centered activity. No registration or fee.

  • Big Brother/Big Sister

    Let your children share in the joy of a new brother or sister in this special class designed just for them.

  • Birth & Baby Kernersville

    This series of five weekly classes helps you and your labor partner prepare for childbirth and parenting

  • Breastfeeding Support Group

    Have questions or concerns about breastfeeding? Need some support? This postpartum moms' group meets every Tuesday at 11am and every 2nd and 4th Monday evening at 7:00pm. No registration or fee.

  • Breastfeeding Your Baby

    Like any new skill, breastfeeding will be more successful with early preparation and practice. This 2-part class will help you feel ready to begin this important relationship. Your partner is encouraged to attend with you.

  • Caring for Baby

    This class is for expectant and adoptive parents who want to learn and practice the most up-to-date newborn care for their babies. (This class is included in the Birth & Baby series and the Condensed Birth & Baby classes)

  • Childbirth Class Option 1 - Birth & Baby

    This series of five weekly classes helps you and your labor partner prepare for childbirth and parenting. No need to register for Childbirth Options 2, 3 or 4 when you choose this option.

  • Childbirth Class Option 2 - Condensed Birth & Baby

    Weekend childbirth class covering the care of your newborn, and the basics of labor and childbirth. Includes a hospital tour and lunch. No need to register for Childbirth Options 1, 3 or 4 if you choose this class.

  • Childbirth Class Option 3 - A Natural Childbirth

    For expectant parents who want to learn and practice natural methods of coping with the process of labor and childbirth. We recommend taking "Caring for Baby" and "Exploring Pain Options for Birth and Cesareans" along with this class. No need to register for Childbirth Options 1, 2 or 4 if you choose this class.

  • Childbirth Class Option 4 - Refresher Birth & Baby

    Expecting another baby? This 2-week course reviews the basics of the birth process, breathing and relaxation techniques, and cesarean sections. Recommended at 34-36 weeks.
