Biography
With more than 20 years of experience, James A. Palermo, MD, is board certified in radiation oncology.
His passion for health care stems from a lifelong commitment to helping others, coupled with his own experience as a cancer survivor. Having walked the journey himself, he knows firsthand the challenges patients face – physically and emotionally. That experience fuels his dedication to supporting people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Dr. Palermo provides state-of-the-art cancer care with compassion, respect and a deep commitment to each patient’s individual needs. He strives to build strong, trusting relationships with his patients, takes time to explain their care thoroughly and shares knowledge in a way that helps them feel informed and empowered.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through playing tennis and spending time with family, including his dog, Jackson.
