Ann Marie Madden serves as chief nursing officer and vice president, patient care services, The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Madden has responsibility for nursing operations and nursing support staff at Cone Health’s flagship hospital.
Madden joined Cone Health in June 2017 from Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia where she was chief nursing officer.
Madden earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York City, her master’s degree in nursing from Pace University, also in New York City, and her doctorate in nursing practice , magna cum laude, from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Organization of Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Tau.
