Bethany Porterfield

Chief Administrative Officer, Triad HealthCare Network
Bethany Porterfield serves as chief administrative officer of Triad HealthCare Network (THN), an accountable care organization and clinically integrated network focused on value-based care. In this role, she collaborates with THN’s chief clinical officer to execute network strategies, manage governance committees and ensure THN meets its contractual obligations. She also leads the development of growth strategies for the network.
Porterfield brings more than 15 years of experience in value-based care, clinically integrated networks, and payer strategy. Prior to joining THN, she served as director of operations for Cone Health’s Value-Based Care Institute, where she led the operational launch of the institute, unified digital and clinical infrastructure, and developed a CIN-wide incentive model for independent providers.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Triad HealthCare Network, MedCost, and Cornerstone Healthcare, where she led M&A efforts, developed care models and improved operational performance.
Porterfield holds master’s degrees in health administration and business administration from Pfeiffer University and a bachelor's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
