Chad Richard

Vice President, Supply Chain

Chad Richard serves as vice president, supply chain at Cone Health, where he leads strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations across the health system.

With more than 20 years of experience in health care supply chain leadership, Richard has a proven track record of driving operational efficiency, cost savings and innovation. He most recently served as vice president of supply chain at Prisma Health. Richard also held leadership roles at Greenville Health System, Iredell Memorial Hospital and Carolinas Healthcare System (now Atrium Health).

Richard earned his MBA from Gardner-Webb University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He is a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) and actively participates in industry organizations, including the Council of Supply Chain Executives and the South Carolina Society of Healthcare Resource & Materials Management.
