Executive Vice President, Strategic Development, Cone Health
Jim Roskelly, executive vice president of strategic development of Cone Health, is responsible for the implementation and updating of the organization's strategic plan, and the identification and development of new business opportunities. His role also includes the continued development of the network's relationship with area physicians and hospitals, government relations and coordinating Cone Health's projects requiring a Certificate of Need approval.
Roskelly joined Cone Health in 1986 as director of corporate planning and development and became vice president of planning and development in 1987. He assumed his current position in January 2010.
Roskelly holds a master’s degree in health administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American history from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He also is a member of the American Hospital Association Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and the Carolinas Society for Hospital Planning and Marketing.
