Ryanne Young, MSN, CNML, RN-BC, serves as chief nursing officer at Wesley Long Hospital.

Throughout her career, Young has led initiatives focused on clinical operations, workforce development, patient throughput and quality improvement. She successfully led the insourcing of Cone Health’s dialysis program, expanded renal services across multiple campuses and implemented strategies that improved staffing, retention and operational performance.

Young earned a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina A&T State University.

A Certified Nurse Manager and Leader and Registered Nurse-Board Certified, Young is a member of the American Nurses Association, North Carolina Nurses Association and American Nephrology Nurses Association. She was recognized as a North Carolina Great 100 Nurse in 2015 and received Cone Health’s Nurse Excellence Award in 2016.
