Skip Hislop
Vice President, Southern Region and Vice President, Oncology

Skip Hislop serves as vice president of the Southern Region for Cone Health. He is also vice president of oncology. Hislop leads all strategies and tactics to bring new services and programs to the identified Southern Region. He is also responsible for Cone Health Cancer Centers.
Hislop joined Cone Health in 2011 as director of medical oncology and was named vice president of oncology later that year.
He earned a Master’s of Science degree in business management and a bachelor’s degree in health services management from the State University of New York, Polytechnic Institute.
Hislop is a Health Management Academy GE Administrative Fellow, a Certified Management Coach through Coach Academy Internation, and also a Certified Healthcare Lean Leader through Belmont University Massey Graduate School of Business.
Hislop is a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers, Health Management Academy Oncology division, American College of Healthcare Executives, and is a board member of the American Cancer Society for the North and East Region.
He is a former board member of the Randolph Health Cancer Center, Alight Foundation, Mission Committee for the American Cancer Society, and PACE of the Southern Piedmont. Hislop has also been the Cone Health United Way campaign chair or co-chair since 2017.
