Susan Pedaline, DNP, MS, CENP, is chief nursing officer for Moses Cone Hospital and vice president, Cone Health Maternal-Child Services. She joined Cone Health in 2012.
In recent years, as the chief nursing officer of Women’s Hospital, Pedaline led the Women’s Hospital team through the design and move into the Cone Health Women’s & Children’s Center at Moses Cone Hospital.
Pedaline earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Pittsburgh; a Masters of Professional Leadership from Carlow College, Pittsburgh; a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and a diploma in nursing from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh.
Pedaline is a fellow in the Academy GE Fellows for Nurse Executives. She is president of CWISH, the Council of Women’s and Infants’ Specialty Hospitals. She is on the board for the North Carolina Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Pedaline is also a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, North Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders, North Carolina Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau.
She serves on the Greensboro Communities in School Board of Directors.
