Walidah Karim-Rhoades, DNP
VP, Operations, Greensboro Market

Walidah Karim-Rhoades, DNP, RN, is vice president of operations for The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. She leads hospital operations, quality and safety performance, financial stewardship and staff engagement. She works closely with medical staff and system leaders to advance Cone Health’s strategic priorities and deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
Karim-Rhoades joined Cone Health in 2008 as a certified nurse midwife. She went on to become director of the Cone Health Center for Women’s Healthcare and then executive director of primary care and women’s health.
She holds a Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from the University of Arizona. Karim-Rhoades is a board-certified nurse midwife.
Karim-Rhoades is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Cone Health GE Health Management Academy Administrative Fellow.
