Immunology Evaluations

At the Allergy & Asthma Center of North Carolina, our experts are trained in evaluating and treating immunodeficiencies. Immunodeficiencies are a group of more than 450 rare, chronic conditions where a part of the body’s immune system is missing or does not function correctly. Each of the 450+ distinct diseases are different, but they all disrupt the body’s immune system, which normally protects us from bacteria and viruses.

Using a detailed patient history as well as specific laboratory evaluations, our team of experts can pinpoint what part of the immune system is not functioning correctly and recommend treatment options, including vaccinations or immunoglobulin replacement.
