This class provides information about the risks and benefits of weight loss surgery, the costs, and a pathway to help guide you through the process to make a lifestyle change.

Check In Time
Check-in is from 5:45 to 6:00 p.m. For your convenience while waiting, there is comfortable seating in the Education Center lobby.
Parking Information
You may park up front & to the right of the Education Center, further down to the right in our short stay lot, or directly across the street from the Education Center in the Lebauer Healthcare lot or one of the adjoining lots on the opposite side of Elam Ave. That is closer than parking in the main hospital parking lot & walking up the sidewalk or through the hospital. Information About Our Bariatric Program
****We DO NOT accept Medicaid or the Compass Plan with UHC for weight loss surgery if it is the PRIMARY & ONLY coverage. You will need to contact another bariatric center if this is your primary insurance carrier. *****
You MUST be at least 18 years of age to be considered for surgical options at our center.
You may be a candidate for surgery if you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or greater, or a BMI between 35-39.9 AND serious obesity-related health problems to be considered for bariatric surgery. Check with your Doctor or go online at the National Institutes of Health to Calculate your BMI:
