Director, Women’s Healthcare & OB/GYN Faculty Practice
I began at Cone Health as a volunteer with Women’s Hospital 14 years ago. That experience opened the door for my first official job as an administrative assistant, which I held while also earning my Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) degree. My goal was to become a PA which I did and, fortunately for me, an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position opened at the Center for Women’s Healthcare. It was exactly what I had set out to do. Soon after, I began taking on leadership responsibilities. First as a team lead, then assistant director and now director. Throughout my time here, I’ve gained a true appreciation for Cone Health’s commitment to women's care. Amazing work is being done to address major concerns such as health care disparities and high-risk pregnancies. We’re forever reinventing the care we provide, and that includes putting APPs in leadership positions, such as managing a practice. Not many other health care systems are as supportive. I’m thrilled to be part of an organization that is always looking for new and better ways to care for patients and be there for the communities we serve.
