Monette Mabolo
DNP, RN, MBA, Nursing Director

I arrived at Moses Cone Hospital nearly nine and a half years ago. Immediately I experienced the warmth and kindness of my teammates, who treated me like an equal even though I was a new hire. It didn’t take long to realize there was something different about this place. Everywhere I went, people asked me if they could help or direct me to where I needed to go. It was no surprise when I learned Cone Health has been nationally recognized for excellence in nursing. I knew then; this was the place I wanted to be.

From my first day, I was given every opportunity to grow. Six months into my role, I had the opportunity to train as a management coach and I sat beside some extraordinary senior nursing leaders—learning so much from them along the way. That level of opportunity wasn’t available at my previous job, but at Cone Health, my career has endless possibilities. Four years ago, I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Executive Leadership through Cone Health’s nursing scholarship. I truly believe Cone Health is the best place to give care and the best place to get care.
