The only problem I had on my last visit was that the MD didn't bring her laptop in with her and had to leave to go and get it to see what meds that I had previously taken to determine what to prescribe. I thought she was done so I made my f/u appointment and left. She followed up with a not in my chart. I would prefer to get a printout after my visit. I am sure the next appointment will be better because I will speak up to make sure the laptop is available to use for my visit.

I felt that Dr. H-A listened to me for for the first time since my life-changing surgery April 4 (NOVANT). I didn't feel rushed and she was sympathetic to what I have struggled with.

Dr. Hernandez Acosta knew everything about my hospital stay and surgeries. She offered suggestions to help with my care. She also noted I had a skin cancer on my head and sent referral right over to my dermatologist. Very personal & caring dr.

This visit was for a routine physical. The lab work for this physical was done after the visit with the doctor. Two issues arose from the lab work, and I had to consult with the doctor via MyChart days later to address these issues. If I had come in earlier for the lab work, we could have addressed these issues during the face-to-face visit. I don't mind coming in earlier for the lab work.
