Dr. Alex Paraschos is an interventional cardiologist at Alamance Regional Medical Center, part of Cone Health, where he has served since the hospital opened in 1995. With a deep passion for cardiology, he specializes in diagnosing and treating heart blockages through procedures like cardiac catheterization and coronary stenting. Originally planning a career in research, he discovered his true calling during fellowship while performing hands-on procedures that directly improve patients’ lives.
Dr. Paraschos is committed to providing advanced cardiac care close to home, believing that proximity to loved ones plays a vital role in healing and recovery. When he’s not on call, he enjoys playing golf—his second passion after cardiology.
