Biography

Angela Freeman, OT, is an occupational therapist and a member of Cone Health’s movement disorders team. She specializes in treating patients with neurological conditions, including those who have Parkinson’s Disease. She is certified in LSVT BIG®, which enhances patients’ movements, and trained in Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!), which uses exercise and functional activities to improve brain function and performance of daily activities.

She enjoys empowering people with Parkinson’s disease through knowledge, strategies and ongoing exercise. She individualizes treatment to fit each patient’s needs.

She is co-founder of the Power Over Parkinson’s! community group, which helps patients incorporate education and the support of others into disease management.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
