Biography
With more than a decade of experience, Athena “Nikki” Pickenpack-Cousar, AGPCNP-BC, is board certified in adult-gerontology as a primary care nurse practitioner. Her professional focus is on palliative care.
Using a holistic, patient and family-focused approach, she collaborates with her patients and families to provide empathetic care and help them navigate their health journey. Also, she strives to form therapeutic, respectful and trusting relationships with her patients. She also teaches smoking cessation classes at Cone Health.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and the family’s dog, Bella.
