Board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, Benjamin Rattray, DO, MBA, CPE, FAAP serves as neonatology medical director for Cone Health Women’s & Children’s Center at Moses Cone Hospital. A Certified Physician Executive, his professional interests include leadership, writing, quality improvement and neonatal neurology.
Reflecting his passion for providing the best possible care for babies and their families, he is the author of a book of patient stories from the neonatal intensive care, When All Becomes New: A Doctor’s Stories of Life, Love and Loss.
Originally from New Zealand, he lived in California for a decade before moving to North Carolina for medical training. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, writing, hiking and sailing.
