Biography
Board certified in anesthesiology and pain management, Brian Boies, MD, MBA, FASA, serves as Cone Health’s Chief Academic Officer and the Designated Institutional Officer for the health network’s Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) associated residency programs. His professional interests include acute and chronic pain along with joint, back and neck pain.
He is passionate about medical education and the latest, evidence-based care. He strives to keep patients informed about their condition and prognosis, outline their care options, provide realistic expectations and support their health journey by addressing pain and improving function.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include reading, tinkering with technology, photography and traveling.
