Chad Haldeman-Englert, MD, is a board-certified clinical geneticist. He evaluates children and adults to determine if the cause of their symptoms could be due to a change to the DNA (i.e., genes). His areas of interest include precision health, dysmorphology, genetic syndromes, neurogenetics, cancer genetics and cardiac genetics.
Using a holistic and collaborative approach to care, he spends time with patients to obtain their medical information, perform a thorough physical exam and possibly do genetic testing. He works as a team with genetic counselors. Since genes are passed on through the generations, he addresses the needs not only of his patients but also their entire families. He also cares about equitable healthcare across our community.
In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, playing music, walking his dogs and spending time with his spouse.
