Biography
Claire Lanier, MD, specializes in radiation oncology. Her professional interests include stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, brain metastases, lung cancer, gynecologic oncology, breast cancer, osteoarthritis, melanoma and sarcoma.
Having published widely on advanced radiation technologies and quality-of-life outcomes, she brings research-driven insight to everyday clinical decisions. As a specialty journal reviewer and review editor, she understands how the latest data and findings apply to patient-centered care. Currently, she serves as principal investigator for a randomized controlled trial investigating the role of radiation in asymptomatic high-risk bone metastases as well as a prospective registry studying low-dose radiation for osteoarthritis. Emphasizing clarity, empathy and evidence-based guidance, she seeks to build trust through respectful, honest communication.
