Biography
Claudia Hooker, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker. Her professional interests include anxiety, depression, non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief and loss, body image, chronic pain and self-esteem issues.
After beginning her healthcare career by training as an emergency medical technician and paramedic, her work with children experiencing mental health crises in the emergency department helped her realize she wanted to become a therapist. Sincere and caring, she believes in cultivating compassion, empathy and authenticity with her patients and looking at the whole picture.
In her spare time, she enjoys games, baking and watching television shows and movies. She loves animals and believes in self-care.
