Biography
Dr. Matthews provides primary care to patients of all ages. He grew up in the Triad in Forsyth County and is passionate about providing holistic, quality, evidence-based care to his community. Dr. Matthews prioritizes building relationships and listening to his patients at each visit in order to best address their concerns and provide continuity of care. His background allows him to present a variety of treatment options, and he works to make sure each patient leaves their appointment feeling comfortable and that their concerns were addressed.
Dr. Matthews believes one of the best things people can do to stay healthy is to remain as active as possible. Not everyone can run a marathon but everyone can find what works for them – even if it’s yard work or household chores.
In his spare time, Dr. Matthews enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching sports, hiking and amateur astronomy.
