Dr. Colleen Marie Stack, MD, MBA, is a neurohospitalist specializing in inpatient neurology, neurological emergencies, and neurocritical care. An empathetic listener who values patient autonomy, she is honored to care for individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. Her approach centers on equipping patients with the tools and information they need to make informed decisions about their health. Dr. Stack trained at Duke and now works alongside a team of exceptionally skilled clinicians, contributing to one of the top neurology programs in the state and the Southeast.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Stack embraces her inner nerd with a love for board games and backyard birding. She also enjoys spending time with her son and dog, traveling, and crafting. Whether at work or at home, she brings curiosity, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping others—qualities that continue to inspire her every day.
