Biography
Cory Bates, MS, LCSW, LCAS, is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addictions specialist who practices in an integrated behavioral health setting. He uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, problem-solving therapy, strength-based therapy, group therapy, mindfulness and behavioral activation.
With a calm and soothing demeanor, he strives to establish professional relationships where clients feel safe, trust him and the process and feel like their concerns are heard. Through collaboration, he helps people feel grounded, even when their lives may feel out of control.
A big advocate for self-care, he enjoys a wide range of hobbies outside of work, including listening to and making music, exercising, playing video games, thrifting, reading and working on cars.
