Dawn Fesmire, PT, has specialized as a pediatric physical therapist since 2013. She treats children with a variety of diagnoses including neurological and orthopedic.
With Cone Health since 1993, she has worked in all areas of the system and with all ages. Her focus has been on the rehabilitation of neurologically impaired patients, including those with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke and demyelinating diseases.
She believes the purpose of therapy is to maximize the quality of life and develops treatment plans that are relevant to what the patient enjoys. She always strives to achieve the best possible patient outcomes and to challenge the climbing of all “mountains.”
Outside of work, Dawn loves to travel. Her goal is to make many memories exploring new places. She loves outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking and kayaking. Reading and shopping are her other personal pleasures.
