Biography
A Triad native, Donald Heck, MD, is board certified in radiology and fellowship trained in interventional neuroradiology and interventional radiology.
For more than 20 years, he has cared for patients with a variety of neurovascular conditions in the Triad region. His clinical focus is the treatment and prevention of stroke and the minimally invasive surgical treatment of brain aneurysms and other neurovascular conditions. A national speaker with numerous peer-reviewed publications, his research interests are carotid artery stenosis and emerging stroke treatments.
Well-known and respected for his bedside manner, communication skills and calm demeanor, he strives to inform, listen to and understand what is most important to his patients and their families.
