Biography

Emily Boyce, FNP-C, RN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Her professional interests include adolescent and young adult health.

Warm, friendly and approachable, she enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level to better care for them.

After traveling on medical mission trips as a teen, she decided to pursue a career in healthcare. As a student, she led several community programs focused on health promotion. After working in the emergency department at the Moses H. Cone Hospital, she sought to make a bigger community impact by focusing on preventative care in a family medicine setting.

In her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking, reading, working in her garden and traveling with her husband and two dogs.

Close to my 6 month follow up visit my previous care provider left this practice so this was my first visit with Emily and it was virtual. She was very thorough with her assessment. Very pleasant, personable,caring, considerate, professional and knowledgeable. Provided spiritual care with permission.

Although my Dr has left and this was my initial appointment with a NP-C, Emily Boyce, I found the experience outstanding. I have a vry complex medical history and rare conditions but she had familarized herself thoroughly, asked insightful questions, and clearly showed that she saw herself as a member of my team of providers, which is very crutial for me. Cornerstone has always been responsive, friendly and extreemly professional.
