Flavia Mowlanejad, PT, is a pediatric physical therapist. She works in pediatric outpatient rehabilitation and is part of a multi-disciplinary neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) developmental clinic team. In addition to English, she is conversational in Italian.
Not only does she bring a professional approach to her work, but she brings her own experiences as a parent to her treatment approach. She strives to find the balance between achieving milestones without overwhelming families. Empathetic and kind, she treats each child individually and creates a challenging but fun atmosphere. Over time, she forges strong relationships with her patients and their families, so she provides comfort, reassurance and encouragement along their journey.
In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy cheering on their three children who are active in sports other activities.
“Physical therapy provides me with the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. The joy of the moment the child is able to pedal a bike or take his or her first steps is priceless. To know I was part of making that happen is awesome.” – Flavia Mowlanejad, PT
